Engineering Manager

A well-established manufacturing company with multiple U.S. operations is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team at their Pennsylvania location. This role will focus on leading capital projects, improving reliability practices, and supporting overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support engineers in delivering capital and improvement projects.
Manage plant reliability processes, including alignment, balancing, lubrication, vibration, and condition monitoring, with proper documentation and reporting.
Introduce and implement reliability practices and technologies that improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Coordinate major outages, ensuring planning, responsibilities, and documentation are executed effectively.
Provide safety leadership across all phases of capital projects.
Work closely with operations and maintenance to identify needs and resolve equipment issues.
Develop and manage project budgets and timelines.
Conduct engineering evaluations and designs; oversee contracted services.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Familiarity with Front-End Loading (FEL) practices, including scope development, design, risk and cost management, and execution.
10+ years of engineering and reliability experience in a large industrial or manufacturing setting with 3+ years of management
Proven background in capital project execution and maintenance/reliability best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization and adapt to changing priorities.
