Summary: The Human Resources Manager plays a key leadership role in driving strategic HR initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across all Lenox offices. This position is responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, managing HR programs, and serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders. The HR Manager will lead efforts in talent, employee relations, performance management, and engagement, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and alignment with Lenox’s values and business goals. This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office.
Job Accountabilities
Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management
Lead employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Oversee the performance management cycle, including goal setting, development planning, and reviews
Manage compensation structures, bonus and incentive programs, and ensure equitable and competitive pay practices
Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and action planning. Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy within HRIS. Conduct audits and optimize HR processes for efficiency and scalability
Lead recruitment strategy and requisition process in partnership with hiring managers and NFP recruiters. Ensure a seamless candidate experience and effective onboarding
Oversee HR content on the Lenox Intranet and internal communications related to HR programs and initiatives
Direct the annual summer internship program, including program design, manager engagement, and intern development
Prepare and review HR documents such as severance agreements, investigative reports, progressive discipline documentation and exit interview summaries. Provide insights through HR metrics and dashboards
Stay current on HR trends, technologies, and legal updates. Recommend and implement improvements to HR policies and practices
Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies
Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across teams
Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and a solid understanding of HR best practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
3+ years’ experience as an HR professional as a generalist business partner
Bachelor’s degree with course work in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
SHRM-SCPS or SPHR Certification a plus

The base salary range for this position is $94,000.00 – $111,000.00. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
