About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing next generation automation equipment. You’ll turn customer requirements into fully engineered robotic and mechanical systems, using your creativity and technical expertise to solve complex industrial challenges. This position is perfect for an engineer who enjoys designing, building, testing, and seeing their ideas come to life.


What You’ll Do

• Lead mechanical design work using SolidWorks, creating innovative custom machinery

• Build and test prototypes, validating concepts with hands-on work

• Manage projects from initial concept through final approval

• Present designs to customers and collaborate with internal teams to refine solutions

• Produce detailed layouts, fabrication drawings, and assembly documentation

• Select appropriate materials, components, and processes for each application


What We’re Looking For

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of machine design experience

• Strong understanding of industrial components including bearings, motors, sensors, and gearboxes

• Knowledge of materials, coatings, and machining techniques for fabricated parts

• Ability to develop full machine layouts and specify key components

• SolidWorks proficiency

• Experience working with robots

• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills


Additional Info

• Location: Philadelphia

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts

• Travel: 5 to 10 percent to customer sites
