I’m pleased to share that I’ve begun my PhD as an iCase student funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and the London Interdisciplinary Biosciences Consortium (LIDo). My research will focus on developing a human hepatocyte culture system to simultaneously measure drug-induced liver injury and determine the hepatobiliary elimination transporter(s). I am fortunate to be supervised by Professor kenneth linton at Queen Mary University of London and to collaborate with AstraZeneca as my industry partner. Looking forward to the journey ahead and the opportunity to contribute to this important area of research!
